The cure
When is the centre open?
From September to mid-April, the most pleasant season in Kerala. The centre is closed from May to August.
How long does a cure last?
7, 14, 21 or 28 days, with the option to add extra nights. If you are unsure, the free call helps you choose the right length.
Is it a relaxation cure?
No: it is a medical cure, prescribed and followed every day by the doctor. It calls for rest and calm, and includes elimination procedures. That is what makes it a profound experience.
Does my health allow me to do a cure?
Some situations require prior advice — notably pregnancy, heart disease or cancer under treatment. The centre's doctor reviews each case through the medical questionnaire; you can also mention it during the free call. A cure never replaces medical care.
And after the cure?
You leave with an assessment and personal recommendations. A follow-up consultation is offered within three months, and guidance can continue from year to year.
On site
Do I need to speak English?
No. The medical team speaks English and Françoise Barrios translates when needed.
Can I come alone?
Of course. You can also join an organised group if you prefer not to travel alone — twelve participants at most.
What is the food like?
South Indian vegetarian cuisine, adapted by the doctor to each guest's treatment. Drinks are included.
Is there wifi?
Yes, free: enough for emails and messages, not for video streaming — which does no harm during a cure.
Travel
Which airport should I choose?
Kannur (about 2 hours by road), Mangalore (3 hours) or Calicut (4 hours). A transfer can be arranged; its price is in the brochure.
Do I need a visa? Vaccinations?
A tourist visa is required (the e-visa is accepted for Kannur, Calicut and Mangalore). No vaccinations are needed for Kerala.
Can you help with my flight?
Partner travel agencies in Switzerland and France can arrange your ticket and visa. Ask us for their details by WhatsApp or email.
Booking & payment
How do I book?
Fill in the online form: you receive a detailed proposal by email, with no commitment or payment. A deposit then confirms the booking, and the balance is paid one month before arrival.
How do I pay?
By card online or by bank transfer. Payment can be made in several instalments.
What if I have to cancel?
The cancellation terms are set out in the general terms and conditions attached to your proposal. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance.
Will my insurance cover the cure?
Some Swiss supplementary health insurers partly cover alternative medicine. You receive a treatment certificate at the end of the cure; check your cover with your insurer before booking.
