Between Geneva and Kerala

A bridge between West and East: psychology and guidance in Geneva, traditional Ayurvedic medicine in Kerala.

Françoise Barrios

Co-founder & director

Françoise Barrios

Clinical psychologist & Ayurvedic medicine practitioner

A French-Swiss practitioner and clinical psychologist by training, Françoise Barrios turned to a holistic approach to health after more than twenty years in Geneva's psychiatric institutions. She trained in depth in traditional Ayurvedic medicine in Kerala, and teaches hatha yoga.

In Geneva, in 2007, she co-founded with her husband Christophe Barrios the Espace Thérapeutique Rousseau, where she carries out full Ayurvedic assessments. In 2014 she founded the healing centre in the backwaters, which became Madhavi Ayurveda in 2023 when a couple of doctors joined.

She is the person you meet if you book the free call, and she translates on site when needed.
